BIO

I was born into a family of artists in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
My father was a book editor and fine artist who illustrated books, designed graphic arts and  posters. I am the youngest of his six artistic children and was the only child in the family to become a professional artist and I credit my father as a primary source of inspiration. An early childhood injury sustained while playing soccer as a teenager permanently changed my life. During the months of recuperation, I became deeply absorbed in reading art theory books. During this period, I discovered my passion for art and decided to dedicate my life to the creation and study art. I majored in art college and Master of Fine Art State Pedagogical University and later worked as a designer and artist/illustrator in the theater, press and news media.

I consider myself a historical artist: I began my journey as a historical a Silhouette Fine artist. Ultimately, I discovered the truth in art and the existence of our collective mind and soul. How the scissors and paper, intricate and fragile, are a metaphor for life itself ! Influenced by both Eastern and Western artistic traditions, as well as Eastern religious philosophies, his artistic vision is, above all, steeped in my abiding love of my native land: the rigged open steppes, the horses that are an artistic part of Mongolia culture, and its rich, colorful history. Mongolia is a country of oral history. A nomadic people, Mongolians used storytelling to pass down traditions and lore from generation to generation, leaving few written records. The tradition of cutting designs out of felt, paper, or other materials is ancient. For example, when a child was born, the family would cut out of felt the image of fox and display it near the child’s bed. This symbolic image, like the dream catcher of the Native American artistic tradition, was meant to protect the child from nightmares. I currently live in Reno, Nevada.

Since I was child, I surprisingly adored penciling everyday and inspired and influenced two artists as my teacher, friend, and competitors. One is a French graphic artist, illustrator Gustav Dore and other Japanese artist, printmaker Katsushika Hokusai.

In early years, I experimented with different papers with different scissors cutting shapes and objects and became much more excited me to create my view, expression and feeling after proofreading. Also, at the same time, creating Paper cut silhouettes with paper and scissors so special and unique knowledge of my art career.
I created a series of historical books and illustrated many book illustrations of the World’s work of literature and poetry. Life and Art are an equal Universal force of the University (power) that I learned as a tool that every day is passionate, hard-working manner and expressing new ideas.

My creation of “The Tsagasun Baru” Silhouette Fine Art is unique, a new style and form of American Fine Art.
The Paper is fragile simple material, and the Scissors are an aggressive tool. “The Tsagasun Baru” Silhouette Fine Art is three-dimensional, you could create phototype or conceptual Art. But you can create whatever you have great ideas for and create your unique world.
